Following on from what was a spooktacular Halloween night in Birmingham’s Gay Village last weekend, it has been announced that ten of the city’s gay venues will be hosting a Halloween Re-run on Saturday 25 November.

Called ‘A Nightmare on Hurst Street’, the event will see a collaboration between The Nightingale, Eden, Sidewalk, The Fox, The Loft, Rhapsody, Missing, Glamorous, Equator Bar and The Village Inn.

David Nash, of award-winning gay nightclub The Nightingale, said: “Halloween has historically been one of the biggest and most popular nights in the gay calendar and this year was no exception.

“Everyone embraces the themes in each of the gay venues and customers go all out with their costumes to make it one of the best nights of the year. The gay businesses go the extra mile to make their venues look amazing and the gay village really comes alive on Halloween night.

“November can be a fairly flat month, being sandwiched between Halloween and Christmas and dark nights, so the gay venue operators thought it would be a great idea to work together and give those who loved Halloween and those who didn't get chance to come out, the opportunity to do it all over again.

“Birmingham's gay village is at its best when all of the venues work closely together, like we do at Pride and at the ever popular New Years Eve re-run, so Saturday 25 November is set to be a fantastic night out again, no matter which venue you visit.”
