Midlands charity Birmingham LGBT is encouraging the local gay community to get swimming!

One of the most popular activities in the UK, with 2.52 million adults participating each week, swimming is a great way to improve health, fitness and mood, as well as to build body strength.

Birmingham LGBT recommends people to join one of the city's most popular LGBT weekly swim group, Moseley Shoals. In a relaxed and comfortable environment, the charity hosts three hour-long sessions each week.

The sessions take place on Sundays from 12.30pm and Wednesdays from 8pm at Moseley Road Baths, and on Mondays from 8.30pm at Sparkhill Pool.

A fun session of water polo takes place every other Wednesday. The first session is free. For more
information, visit blgbt.org/fitness.
