Organisers of Birmingham Pride have this morning announced the first artist set to appear at the two-day LGBT festival in May.

Birmingham born, international rapper Stefflon Don will be performing at the popular Pride event. Don has featured on the track 'Instruction' by Jax Jones and Demi Lovato, whilst her own single 'Hurtin Me' has featured in the top ten of the UK Singles Chart.

Birmingham Pride is set in the heart of the city's gay village and attracts over 50,000 people each year. This year's two-day celebration, featuring the theme 'Be You', takes place on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 May and tickets are available from birminghampride.com.
