Organisers of Brighton and Hove Pride announce 'biggest and best' festival yet with over 90,000 in attendance.

Over 100 community groups, charities, sports groups, dance troupes, corporate partners, floats and walking groups paraded along the seafront and through the centre of the city up to Preston Park for the Pride Festival.

A riot of colour, the festival site featured dance tents, cabaret stages, acoustic performances, a diversity area and more. The main stage hosted some of the biggest names in music including Becky Hill, Louisa Johnson and special guests Years & Years, finishing with a ninety minute show by the legendary Pet Shop Boys.

Police and council estimates suggest that almost 400,000 people (made up of 90,000 at the Pride Festival and Pride Village Party, and 300,000 participants and spectators at the Pride Community Parade) were celebrating Pride in Brighton.
