CCTV released following homophobic attack in Birmingham

West Midlands Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to talk to in connection with a homophobic assault in Birmingham's gay village on Monday 24 July.

During the assualt, a 28-year-old was verbally and physically assaulted outside Glamorous on Hurst Street at approximately 5.10am. 

Police are treating the incident as a hate crime.

Police describe the suspect as mixed race and of medium build with dreadlocks. At the time of the attack he was wearing a red shirt.
