The live-action remake of Disney classic, Beauty and the Beast, will feature Disney’s first ever gay character and love story.

LeFou, played by Josh Gad, is the sidekick of the film’s main antagonist, Gaston. LeFou tries to come to terms with his feelings for Gaston, in a side plot to the main story that sees him have lust and admiration.

Disney are calling it their first ever “exclusively gay moment” in one of their films
