Organisers of Birmingham Pride have this morning announced that DJ and producer Jax Jones will be performing at this year's Birmingham Pride.

After developing an interest in house music after meeting Duke Dumont, Jax Jones has gone on to be an internationally recognised DJ producing songs such as 'You Don't Know Me', 'Housework', 'Instruction' and most recently, 'Breathe'.

The star will be appearing at the two-day LGBT festival alongside Gossip star Beth Ditto and Birmingham-born rapper, Stefflon Don.

Birmingham Pride is set in the heart of the city's gay village and attracts over 50,000 people each year. This year's two-day celebration, featuring the theme 'Be You', takes place on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 May and tickets are available from birminghampride.com.
