National broadcaster Channel Four has commissioned the company Summer Films to find and unleash ‘Britain’s inner drag’ for a new six-part television series, some of which will be filmed in Dudley.
Provisionally titled The Drag Lab, the show sees The Family Gorgeous - one of the UK’s most fabulous drag collectives - heading out on their first ever national road trip. Their aim? To help ordinary Brits go on a voyage of self- discovery as they transform into bigger, better, drag-enhanced versions of themselves. Producers are heading to Dudley to find people to take part in the show. Interested parties should email email@example.com for more information.
